Watercolor Collab

Throw back to one of my first shoots of the year! I had been in a photography slum as the new year came around. Thanks to some amazing ladies, I was able to pull my self out of it!

One of my favorite parts of collaborations and such is meeting and networking with some amazing people. These people are my people. I love forming relationships with each and everyone of them. Back in december I had the opportunity to work with an amazing dress designer, Jessica, of J Noelle Designs. I had mentioned a need to do a small collab and she immediately sent me an image of some new fabric. I instantly fell in love with the watercolor palette, and she designed and sewed an all new piece for this small shoot of mine. As it happens, this stunning model below is Jessica's sister Kelsie. She is such an amazing person and amazing model to work with. She makes your job so much better.

Also back in December I did a bouquet for a collaboration with another photographer. Also apart of that shoot was Maria, a fabulous hair and makeup artist!

Carol from Creative Wedding Events came together with an amazing bouquet that complimented the look of the whole shoot.

No big deal, but we're standing in about 2 feet of snow! Craziness!

One of my all time favorite Hair and Makeup ladies is Maria Hannifin of MH Artistry. We happen to live only blocks away, which makes collaborations like this a dream! Did she not do an absolute amazing job on Kelsie's hair and makeup?

Photographing shoots like this is always fun when you have fabulous models that know how to work it!

This lace detail on the top from J Noelle Designs is stunning. Just the right amount of beadwork to make this look soft and delicate.

These colors.

Florals from Carol at Creative Wedding Events is always a MUST.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!

I'd love to hear what you all think! Drop a comment below and you could get 10% off your next session booked.

Ashley | Maternity

One of my favorite parts of being a photographer is getting the chance to go on a journey with my clients. I met Ashley at our first shoot where it was just her and her sweet hubby. Little did she know at the time that she was pregnant, let alone pregnant with twins! A few days later she contacted me to shoot their announcement. And today I get to show you all her amazing maternity session.

I also got to create a fun floral crown for her shoot as well. I wanted a play on pink and blue as she was having both a boy and a girl. I incorporated Italian Ruscus as the base of the crown and added a peachy pink stock and blue thistle.

I would love to know what you all think! Drop a comment below for your chance to take 10% off any session!

*excludes wedding day coverage and newborn sessions.

Josh & Ashley | Bridals & Bouquet

There is so much that I could say about this session! Ashley is honestly one of the kindest, most genuine women I have ever met. She has something about her that just draws you to her. Watching her interact with Josh was such a joy because their love just radiates. I was pleasantly surprised and honored to be able to do a first look with these two, and the images just say it all. The look on Josh's face is mesmerizing as he see's his bride for the first time.

So, as most of you know, I have started my journey into floral design. I love creating beautiful bouquet's for brides, and I am especially honored when I get to play both Photographer and Florist. Now for Ashley's Bridals bouquet, I ran into a tough spot when my gold tint exploded. I had to get a little creative. I tried a new skill of gold leafing on the roses and I couldn't be more happy with how it turned out.

Her Ring!!!!

The belt on Ashley's dress was so completely stunning!

Another favorite. So much love and happiness.
